CaST Center for Bioinformatics Research operates at the intersection of high technology, medicine, and public health. This convergence has the power to remake healthcare in the 21st century for billions of people, while also reshaping human  relationships with technology and the digital world.

As a public health research group, CaST Center will undertake studies utilizing artificial intelligence systems, particularly machine learning, as they can be applied to parsing relationships between disparate variables within healthcare data. Large-scale analysis of biodata, or bioinformatics, holds the promise of revealing clinical and pharmacological certainties critical to improving human and animal health. CaSTBio intends will work towards that improvement.
